Pat Goodman, M.S.
Pat received a B.A. degree in zoology from Stephens College and an M.S. degree in ethology from Purdue University . She has been working very closely with the wolves of Wolf Park since 1974. She collects wolf behavior data on a continuing basis, is co-author on wolf papers, and coordinates Wolf Park’s wolf research projects. She is in charge of the Adopt-A-Wolf Program, writing reports on the wolves’ activities for their sponsors and supervising many of the sponsors’ visits to the wolves they support. She lectures on wolf behavior during seminars and has several times co-taught a short course on wolf social behavior at the Yellowstone Institute in Yellowstone National Park. Pat has also developed an impressive ethogram on wolf behaviors.
