Therapy Visit Disasters: What To Do When Things Go Wrong

Course Information:

Therapy dog visits don’t always go to plan. What do you do when something goes wrong? If you teach therapy dog classes, how do you best prepare your students? This workshop covers how to prevent problems through training and how to use a dog’s existing skills to mitigate issues. We’ll also cover some real-life scenarios of therapy visit challenges and different ways to deal with them. Most therapy dog visits go without a hitch. Be prepared for those that don’t.
