|
Course Information: THIS IS A LIVE WEBINAR Wednesday, June 12, 2019 12:00pm-1:30pm Central CPDT-KA CEUs: 1.5 CBCC-KA CEUs: 1.5 IAABC CEUs: 1.5 Just about anyone knows to back away from a dog who is growling, lunging, snarling, or snapping at them. However, not everyone understands the more subtle communicative signals a dog may display before they bite. Much like we would want to take a pot off a stove before it even gets warm if we want to avoid a burn, if we can recognize the subtle signals and contexts that happen before a dog bite, we can significantly reduce our risk! This webinar will show video of the precursors for dog bites and discuss some typical and not so typical situations that precipitate a dog bite. |
