Functional Assessment/Analysis: Putting the ABCs to Work in the Real World |
|
Course Information: In this course, Dr. Friedman shows you how to do a functional assessment using the smallest, analyzable unit of behavior – antecedent, behavior, consequence. Essentially, there are only two ways to change behavior: Change the antecedent, and/or change the consequence. Dr. Friedman will explain how to use functional assessment to pare a client’s narrative down to the facts you need to make a realistic hypothesis about the current function of the target behavior and stimuli that set the occasion for the behavior to occur. This will then allow you to create a workable behavior modification plan. Guided practice doing functional assessments is included in this teleconference. |
