In this telecourse Dr. Kimberly Barry, who did her doctoral dissertation on house cats, will give an overview of the evolution of cats, their social signaling and interactions, and the importance of stress resonses and how to deal with them. This is an introductory course, which will be of particular interest to dog trainers as well as anyone interested in cats. As dog trainers, we’ve all had situations where a cat owner asked us for advice. This course will give you insight into the differences between cats and dogs, as well as a good overview of basic cat behavior.
