Many of Raising Canine’s courses will qualify for continuing education units or endorsement through your professional organization. Raising Canine has applied for CEUs and endorsement through the Certification Council for Pet Dog Trainers, the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and the Texas Association of Veterinary Medicine for Registered Veterinary Technicians.

Veterinary technicians are regulated through the state they practice in; many of these courses will qualify in different states. If you would like Raising Canine to apply for CEUs in your state, please provide an organization name, phone number, e-mail address and contact person, and we will contact the organization. If the course has been approved for veterinary technician CEUs, the postal abbreviation of the state in which it is approved will appear.

Attend Ten, Get One Free

If you attend 10 live telecourses, you can receive your 11th course free! To qualify, you must be present at the live course, and you must come in early -- at least one minute before class starts. A secret word will be given at the beginning of the course before the recording begins. After the course, you can fill out the form below to receive credit for attendance. Although I will keep track of the forms, it will be your responsibility to apply for your free course. To apply, just e-mail me at sue@raisingcanine.com and request your course. The free course must be a single-session course valued at $30.00 or less and must be redeemed within 3 years of the date of the 1st course in the 10 course series.

Qualifying and Applying for Endorsement & CEUs

To verify that an attendee has attended the course, there will be a “secret word” at the beginning and end of each session and sometimes during the middle. You must have these secret words to qualify! The first word will be provided within the first five minutes of the course – if you are late, you will not qualify! If you come into the course late, please do not disrupt the session by asking for the secret word.

Once the course is finished, go to the form at the bottom of this page, and fill out the form.

CEU paperwork is sent out quarterly; if you do not receive your paperwork within the specified time, or you need your CEUs before the next scheduled distribution, please contact Raising Canine.

If you would like to apply for continuing education credits or endorsement, please complete this form. All fields must be completed. To apply for a Certificate of Attendance, please complete the section at the bottom of this form. CEU certificates and Certificates of Completion are sent out quarterly.

If you would like a certificate of completion, please fill out the form below. Where it asks for the organization, choose "Certificate of Attendance." The form will be sent to you via U.S. Postal Service; once you receive the form, please fill in your member number of the organization to which you are applying.
