There are many resources available to help owners with their dogs, some good and some bad.  Raising Canine wants to help you get going in the right direction.  

If you don't yet have a dog but are in the market for one, you should find the section on Choosing a Dog very helpful.  There is a quiz to help you assess your "doggie needs"; a section describing the traits of different types of dogs; what to expect when dealing with a breeder; and much more.

There are several Articles to help you with common behavior problems such as house training, chewing, etc.  These articles are designed to help the normal dog owner who just doesn't know where to begin.  Occasionally there's a dog who needs more specialized help, but these articles will pertain to the vast majority of dogs. 

The Online Resources links to different dog-related sites.  Some of these sites are fun sites that help you with your timing, some are links to important information, and some are to other helpful sites.  

Finally, you can subscribe to the telecourse update, which will keep you informed of upcoming educational programs that you may be interested in.
