Because Raising Canine is dedicated to continuing education, and is providing courses for animal professionals, we've decided to expand that service to owners! This program is still in it's early stages, but we will be continually working on and improving the program.
We currently have several audio-taped telecourses on dogs and dog behavior that are designed for trainers, but are also of interest to owners (listed below). We will soon be implementing a comprehensive series of pre-taped courses specifically designed for owners on dog behavior. As soon as we have enough interest, we will begin doing live telecourses for owners, so if you're interested in live courses, please let us know. We'll put your name on our mailing list and keep you informed of new courses appropriate for owners.. Additionally, we plan to add courses on cat and bird behavior in the near future. if you already have a good foundation in learning and behavior, Raising Canine's Criteria Setting & Record Keeping course is designed to teach you to train more efficiently. Although this course is designed for dog trainers, it can be used with any species -- the principles are the same!
